Availability:
All orders are subject to availability. To the best of our ability, we will provide accurate information regarding stock status. If the product you ordered is on backorder from our supplier, we will contact you ASAP, and (1) offer you a substitute, (2) give you an option to cancel your order without penalities (prior to shipment), or (3) keep you informed about your order's estimated ship date if you decide to wait.

Customers' Responsibilities:
As in all furniture purchases, the customer is responsible for ensuring the new purchase will fit into area intended. If there are any questions concerning the measurements of your purchase, please contact us by email or phone.


Shipping Information:
futonsofasleeper.com is delighted to provide free shipping on all orders except where noted within the lower 48 states.
Estimated Receipt Date is approximately 2 weeks on most items.
To provide you with the best selection & pricing, we ship from various locations. As a result, depending on what you ordered and where you are located, your receipt date may vary. We use the fastest, safest, and most reliable carrier to ship your products to you. When each order is shipped, we notify you via the email address provided to us on your order. This email will state the freight company we shipped with and the tracking number of your products. We also send you the phone number and web site (if available) of the freight company so you can track your order. These freight companies provide you with an estimated date of arrival. You should contact the freight company to coordinate delivery of your shipment. Be sure to contact us if anything seems unusual with the progress of the shipment. We use two methods of shipment available as needed: Small Parcel or Truck Freight.
Small Parcel - Whenever possible we will ship smaller, lighter items via FEDEX or UPS. Both provide fast and reliable shipping available for many small items we sell. It will ship directly to your home. Depending on how close you are to the manufacturers/distributors warehouse, your item should arrive between 2 and 7 business days after it leaves their warehouse. We do require a signature on all shipments.
Truck Freight / Curb Side Delivery - Many items we sell are too large or too heavy to ship using a Small Parcel carrier. Therefore, our best option is to ship it to you using a LTL common carrier. Truck freight is different than FedEx Home Delivery, UPS, or US Mail in that you will be responsible for carrying the product from the curb into your house. You need to be present to sign for the shipment. Truck Freight also differs from Small Parcel in that, for residential deliveries, most companies offer appointment windows (usually 2-4 hours) between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. You will work directly with the delivery company to arrange a convenient delivery time and date.
If you are ordering a very large item, please keep in mind that you may need a couple of people to help move it into your house. Freight delivery personnel are not required to move the item beyond the drop off location (some will do so if you ask politely and offer a nice tip). Alternatively, most truck freight companies offer additional services to help you move items from the truck into your house. Once we email you the tracking information you can contact the shipper directly to inquire about additional services. You would be responsible for directly paying the truck freight carrier for any additional services.

Damaged Products:
If there is any damage to your new purchase, we want to work with you on remedy it as soon as possible. Since there are two possible methods of transportation used to get your purchase to you, each requires different approach to reporting damage.
The most important thing to remember is to inspect the package thoroughly at the time of delivery. If the box has any damage, of any kind or if there is any reason for you to be at all concerned about damage, please write "PRODUCT DAMAGED" clearly on the sheet that they ask you to sign. This simply insures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to take care of the problem.
In the event your product arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately. Notify futonsofasleeper.com within 48 hours after receiving your order so that we can process the claim. If you do not notify futonsofasleeper.com about damages within 48 hours of receiving your order OR if you do not send digital images of the damage within 3 business days, we will NOT be responsible to ship your replacement part for free. Claims MUST be filed promptly to insure payment of the damages by the carrier so that we can ship your part for free. We are not responsible in sending replacement parts FREE of charge you must sent digital images of the damage within 3 business days. PLEASE send them promptly!! If your product does not appear to be damaged at time of delivery, please open all items and inspect immediately within 48 hours. futonsofasleeper.com will arrange to ship a replacement part or item at no cost to you. Please be advised, if any portion of the frame arrives damaged we will ONLY ship a replacement part FREE of charge. A full refund will NOT be issued due to damage. If you should decide to return the frame, our standard return policy as noted will apply. In most instances, we may require proof of damages before a claim can be made. At our discretion, we may issue a return authorization for return of the damaged item. Do not discard any damaged items until your replacement part has been received and the damage claim has been resolved.

30 Day Limited Money Back Guarantee Return Policy:
We know you will enjoy your merchandise! If you should decide to return your futon frame, we offer a 30 Day Limited Money Back Guarantee (30 Days from DATE OF PURCHASE) on futon frames ONLY that are not damaged or defective. To return your futon frame, you will need to contact us via email at info@futonsofasleeper.com within the 30-day time frame receiving it and request a "return authorization."
In your email, please include your order ID, the full name(s) supplied in the billing and shipping information, and reason for your return. In addition, you must call futonsofasleeper.com direct to ensure that your email request was indeed received. Please note the time, day and person with whom you spoke. A Customer Care representative will go over the procedures for your return. Please keep in mind, your product must be returned undamaged, in its original packaging and in re-sellable/new condition. A 20% restocking fee plus all shipping and handling costs will be charged. Items damaged due to improper use or assembly may not be returned.

Non-Returnable Products:
Not all products are eligible for return. Futon mattresses are ALWAYS made to order and NONE of the mattress manufacturers will take a mattress back, therefore, futon mattresses are NOT returnable, refundable or exchangeable. Futon covers are considered special order and in many cases are cut and sewn for each individual customer. Therefore, futon covers are not returnable. Any product that is not in stock at our facility and/or products that ordered directly on behalf of the customer may not be returnable as well. Sample swatches are not returnable. Gripper Strips, Eco Gripper, and Mattress Protectors are not returnable. Please do not return any items without our return authorization, as your return will be refused.

Cancellations:
Cancellations can only be made if a product has NOT shipped or been manufactured. All cancellations must be in writing and followed up with a phone call to our customer care department.
If the product has shipped or has been manufactured then our standard return policy would apply. The customer is also responsible for all shipping and handling charges that are incurred, including outbound shipping and return shipping plus 20% restocking fee. Upon receiving the undamaged re-sellable item, we will credit your card less restocking fees and shipping charges.

Warranty:
futonsofasleeper.com will repair or replace any product under the terms of the warranty of each product sold. Please email in writing a detailed description of any damages. In the subject line, include the order ID and the words Warranty Claim.
Proof of Damages may be requested by futonsofasleeper.com and must be supplied by the customer to move forward on any warranty claim. futonsofasleeper.com will responsible for the repair or replacement of one or all parts of any damaged product and futonsofasleeper.com reserves the sole right to determine what measures will be necessary to make repairs or replacement. The customer is responsible for all freight costs.
